We, the teachers and principal of The Priory School, firmly believe that the
children of our school will grow up to be responsible, productive,
independent and worthy adults if they develop in a nurturing and respectful
atmosphere where these values are held to be indispensable.
We also believe that parents have the fundamental responsibility to provide
an atmosphere conducive to personal and academic growth. In the school the
child learns the essential social skills of positive interaction with peers
and adults. If a respectful attitude for others and the environment is
emphasized at home, these values can be reinforced in school.
Life at home and life at school must form an equal partnership. It is this
partnership which enables the child graduating from The Priory School to
face the new challenges of adolescence with confidence. Constant support,
firm guidelines, mutual respect, and plenty of quality time given both at
home and at school are required to develop the self esteem that is necessary
for success in our modern world.
"I have been doubly blessed to be able to work in an environment where I am
encouraged and motivated to be the best teacher that I can be and to have
sent my two children to a school which not only provided them with an
excellent academic education, but also gave them the self-confidence and
human values necessary to become good citizens of the world."
