THE PRIORY PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION (PPA)

The Priory Parents' Association, commonly known as the PPA, is a pivotal body within the school community. Comprising dedicated parents, the PPA, works together with the Head of School, faculty, staff, and the Board of Directors to foster a vibrant, enriching, and supportive environment that benefits students, parents, and staff alike.

All parents of students at The Priory are members of the PPA. Parents are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings and to get involved as class parents or to volunteer on an ad-hoc basis for various events throughout the year.

ACTIVITIES

The Priory School believes strongly and passionately about the school-home connection, and is proud of and grateful for its dedicated parent volunteers. The Priory Parents' Association meets once a month and welcomes new members with open arms. The Priory Parents are involved in many ways, including planning the annual Fall Mixer and the Halloween Party, uniform sales in the Potter Boutique, volunteering at Open Houses, gingerbread house-making in Kindergarten, and organizing the Pasta Family Night, to name just a few. Priory teachers are proud to partner with parents and welcome parents to share ideas about becoming more involved in school and classroom life.

  • Welcome Event (September)

  • Children's Halloween Party (October)

  • The Christmas Bake Sale (December): held in conjunction with the Christmas Concert

  • Teacher Appreciation Week (February)

  • Pasta Family Night (May)

  • Spring Fair (June): an afternoon of fun and games and BBQ

  • Potter Boutique uniform sales (all year)

PPA-Assisted School Activities (Periodic Activities) – These are activities and events that are organized by the school administration where PPA volunteers play an important role.

  • Vaccination campaigns (Fall)

  • School pictures (Fall)

  • Open Houses (October and January)

  • New Parents' Breakfast Meeting (May)

  • The Annual Move-a-Thon (May)

  • Library Time (all year)
