THE PRIORY PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION (PPA)

The Priory Parents' Association, commonly known as the PPA, is a cornerstone of our Priory School community. Made up of dedicated and enthusiastic parents, the PPA collaborates closely with the Head of School, faculty and staff to foster a vibrant, enriching, and supportive environment for students, families, and educators alike.

SCHOOL-HOME CONNECTION

At The Priory, we deeply value the school-home connection and are incredibly proud of and grateful for our dedicated parent volunteers. The PPA meets monthly and welcomes new members with open arms. Priory parents contribute in countless ways, including planning the annual Cheers & Chat, organizing the Halloween Party, managing uniform sales in the Potter Boutique, volunteering at Open Houses, assisting Kindergarten students with gingerbread house-making, and hosting Pasta Family Night, to name just a few.

PARENT INVOLVEMENT

Our teachers treasure their partnership with parents and welcome participation in many aspects of school life. Parents may:

  • Share expertise and talents

  • Join classroom activities

  • Chaperone field trips

  • Co-coach teams or clubs

  • Support special projects and events

This collaboration enriches every child’s educational journey with diverse perspectives and additional support. Parents’ presence and involvement help build a strong, connected, and vibrant school community, giving children the very best school experience.

ALL PRIORY PARENTS ARE VALUED MEMBERS OF THE PPA

Parents are warmly encouraged to attend the monthly meetings, where they can share ideas, stay informed, and connect with other members of our community. Parents are also invited to get involved as class parents or volunteer on an ad-hoc basis for various events throughout the year.

THE PPA STEERING COMMITTEE

The PPA Steering Committee is a vital leadership group within the Priory Parents' Association. Comprised of dedicated parent volunteers, the Steering Committee works closely with the Head of School and other key stakeholders to guide the activities and initiatives of the PPA.
