Launching the Early Childhood Learning Centre
Targeted Support for Every Learner
With our Kindergarten classes relocating to Buchanan House, The Priory will be able to create a dedicated Early Childhood Learning Centre within our main campus.
This new centre will provide targeted academic and social-emotional learning support, adapted to the needs of each learner and grounded in The Priory’s whole-child approach. It reflects our commitment to knowing every child well and helping each student build the confidence, skills, and sense of belonging they need to thrive.
A Dedicated Space for Student Growth
At The Priory, student support is not separate from learning. It is part of how we nurture the whole child — academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively.
The Early Childhood Learning Centre will create a dedicated space for individualized interventions, small-group support, and responsive learning strategies. By bringing these services into a purpose-built environment, The Priory can better support students at key moments in their development and strengthen their journey from the early years through Grade 6.
Rooted in Social and Emotional Learning
Social and emotional learning is central to The Priory experience. Through SEL, children develop the tools to understand themselves, build healthy relationships, make thoughtful decisions, and grow into confident, compassionate learners.
The Early Childhood Learning Centre will help deepen this work by creating a space where academic support and SEL can come together in meaningful, personalized ways.
