A New Home for Our Youngest Learners
A NEW HOME FOR OUR YOUNGEST LEARNERS: BUCHANAN HOUSE
Buchanan House will become the new home of The Priory’s K4 and K5 classes, providing a light-filled and engaging environment designed for whole-child development and the unstructured play that fuels young children’s growth.
A Place for Children to Be Children
Nearly 80 years ago, The Priory’s founders envisioned a school that would feel like an extension of the home, a place for children to be children and a caring environment that was “small enough to be human.” Those founding beliefs remain at the heart of The Priory today.
Buchanan House carries that vision forward, creating a Kindergarten space designed around the needs of our youngest learners.
Designed for the Early Years
Whole-Child Development: Spaces designed to support the social, emotional and developmental needs of young children.
Play: Unstructured play that gives children opportunities to explore, create and grow.
Outdoor Learning: A reimagined campus with outdoor areas that encourage exploration, creativity and connection with nature, including a new Kindergarten playground.
Buchanan House will provide more space for our youngest learners while preserving what has always defined The Priory: a school that is “small enough to be human.”
